Soy lecithin is the phospholipid that provides flexibility to the membranes of all living beings. Additionally, it is the molecule that, by esterifying cholesterol, transports it to the liver. Furthermore, it emulsifies fats, aiding in their digestion and dispersion in the blood. This process prevents the formation of atheromas and can even dissolve existing ones.
Lecithin is a source of phosphorus and choline.
